New Beginning

You can only hold on for so long before you begin to realize that life is passing you by and you're standing there watching it.    Holding on when you've been told to let go.  Holding on out of fear.  Holding on because you can't imagine better.  Holding on because of a promise.  

I let go.   I don't want life to pass me by, I want to join it and grow with it.   I don't have fear, I know something for me is out there.   I know my best days are ahead and my past is just that.....it's passed.

I purged yesterday, I got rid of things that were holding me back.   The memories will always be there but these things were keeping me from what I'm meant to be.   I cried, I said I wouldn't but I did.  It was a good cry, peaceful and that's how I feel now.

I will always love you but I had to finally let go.   You're gone but I am not, I'm here and will fill my life with love again.  What's meant to be for me, will be.  God made that promise, I will trust in God. He has a new beginning for me and I'm ready to live
