Kintsugi

Looking down at the pieces on the floor, wondering how my heart is laying there, shattered.  So many scars from brokenness and so many chips and cracks.   It was so fragile to begin with and now, I'm wondering if it can ever be fixed again.

Trying so hard

Trying not to doubt.  Trying not to cry.   Trying not to worry or be scared.   Trying not to overthink. Trying not to wonder what if or how come.  Trying not to hurt.

Trying to fill my mind with positive.  Trying to smile when the tears come.   Trying to find hope and peace.   Trying to let go and move forward.  Trying to find me.  

Praying for peace.  Praying for direction.   Praying for healing and hope.  Praying for strength and courage.  Praying for patience and confidence.  Praying for you.  

The pieces will mend, I'll never be whole but I will be stronger because my heart will have more gold.   I am gold.
