Laughter

One of my favorite scriptures is Proverbs 31:25 "She is clothed with strength and dignity,  she laughs without fear of the future."    This is how I long to be, a woman is isn't afraid of my future, who smiles and laughs and says "bring it on baby!"    I took an assessment test yesterday called Strengths Finder 2.0, something I was asked to do as part of the youth leadership team with church.  I think k these things are rigged, some of the answers were bogus with no real truth to them, or at least in my eyes.  This wasn't a religious site, it's used for millions of people to  assess their strengths in the work force to aide them along in working well with others.  I say all of that to say this (is digress easily) one of my "strengths" was futuristic.  To me, that is a weakness, my need to know the future, to worry, to project myself and others, it's my downfall.  Let me rephrase that, it WAS my downfall, I will speak positivity into my life, laughter into my heart and I will live each moment out loud. 

Daily I get to wake up and begin again and thank God for that!   I get to have a brand new day every time I open my eyes.   I get to battle this life, I get to fight for my freedom from my demons and I will begin each day with laughter and praise.  Laughter is the best medicine they say and I know that every time I laugh, my spirit is lifted.   My goal is to laugh more than I cry and I will do it because I am a woman who is clothed with strength and dignity and by the grace of God, I will laugh without fear of the future
