Dear Younger Me
Someone on fb made a post of how they wish they could go back and speak to their 19/20 year old self, how they are happy where life is but so many things they'd change. How nice would that be to write the younger you a letrer, stick it in the mail and be able to save yourself from pain, heartache and disappointment.
Dear Younger Me,
Learn to trust, yourself and others, don't be afraid of failure, you only fail if you don't try. Be brave and confident, stand up for yourself and your beliefs, know your value and never let anyone tell you that you're not worth it. Love yourself and know that you deserve only the best. Forgive others, forgive yourself and put down the guilt that wasn't yours to carry. Trust God and be grateful for a wonderful life. Never take anything or anyone for granted. Lastly, never say never

Since we cannot change the past, I've decided to write my future self a letter. Who knows, maybe I'll listen.
Dear Older Me,
You have come so far and are so strong, be confident in who you are. Never forget who was there for you when you were at your lowest, always be grateful for love that was shown. You failed several times and you picked yourself right back up, you didn't give in and you kept trying. You finally saw your own worth and you wouldn't accept anything less than the best for you and your family. You learned to love yourself when you thought no one could ever love someone like you. You changed your life, you made yourself happy and you learned that the only thing you needed in life was your own self. You gave freely of yourself, you wanted others to know that they were worth loving and you changed lives, even though you never saw it. You learned to listen with your heart, you learned empathy and learned that forgiveness changes the world. You leaned how to rid yourself of dark jealously and you saw light come shine though. You accepted love with no doubt or hesitation, you loved freely and it came back to you like you never imagined love could. Continue to thank God daily, without him, you wouldn't be where you are. Be so very proud and stand tall, you are amazing and so very much enough.
Love your younger you, who fought so very hard to get us here....
