Blessed to be loved

I am so blessed to be loved by you.   When I didn't love myself, you loved me.  When I pushed you away, you loved me.  When I left you with no choice, you loved me even more.  

The moment it hit that the love I needed was mine, you let me go.  Through the crying and pleading, you let me go.    The deafening silence made me think you had forever, let me go.   

Little did I know that through it all, the pain I caused, the hurt you felt, the sadness that you had,  you never wanted to let me go, you loved me.   You watched from a distance so I could find my way, you gave up what you wanted so I could find me, you loved me still. 

You never gave up on me, you never really walked away, you never lost your love for me and I cannot explain what that has meant to me.  

I want you to fall in love with someone the way I have, with you.   I want you to feel the kind, gentle true love that I have felt, from you.   I want only every thing that is best for you, even if it's not me.  

You were so blessed to have a true love once before and you deserve nothing less again.  So, my prayer for you is that God allows your heart and mind to find what it is looking for, to feel what is craved and to know that there will always be this girl with a smile that shines, who has a heart full of true pure love just for you.  I am forever grateful to have felt your love.
