Knowing what I now know
For some people, life seems to be so easy.....they seem to flow through life without a hitch. School comes easy, love comes easy, family, career, friends, easy, easy, easy. For others, life is hard, love is hard, school, finding friends, careers, nothing seems to be smooth sailing. I've asked myself, which would I rather have. A simple life where I don't really have to do much and it falls into place or a life with ups and downs, hardships loss and grief? Honestly, the latter, I'd rather work for what I get because then I know it's real and it's true and it's not just convince or circumstances. I want to fight for my place in this world bc it has made me realize what really matters, it has made me see that I deserve and am worth the battle and when I win, I can stand on my own and be proud of what I wanted and what I went for.
I won't give up, I will fight my own demons, my own battles and I will never regret my decision to fight harder and stronger for what I know I deserve. I am where I am because someone loved me enough to fight for me and I refuse to let that go by unnoticed and unappreciated. I will show my love by fighting for what I want.
Knowing what I know, I wouldn't change my life, I'd go through each hardship and loss, every up and down, every fight and battle because every time I loss, I also won. I won the right to be me and I am so fucking worth it.
