Stepping back

Sometimes in life we cannot see the forest for the trees, sometimes we need to step back and look at the big picture.   Sometimes the big picture doesn't include us, no matter how badly we want to be in it.   Stepping back isn't always easy but a lot of times, its a must.

I'm choosing something I don't want because the big picture needs to be in focus and I am making it fuzzy.   My intentions were good, they were just not needed or wanted right now.    I see the big picture....

I know that time is my friend, I know that I am loved and when it's right, my love will be received with open arms.
