Trust vs Faith
"FAITH has been called “the substance of hope.” It requires no evidence for belief or practice. The very nature of faith surmises that tangible evidence doesn’t exist. Otherwise, there is manifestation. On the other hand, trust is based largely on evidence that is real. TRUST is the core conviction of judgment based on knowledge, instinct, and experience." ~Nolan Dalla
When you have unintentionally hurt someone you love, trust can broken, without trust, a relationship will struggle if not completely fall apart. You have no right to ask them to trust, you have to right to ask them to stay. All you can do is have faith that the love you share, the bond you feel, the power you have between you will show itself and will hold you while the hurt heals and the trust is regained.
Prayer is the answer, prayer and faith in God. When you put everything at the feet of God, release your fears, God will see to it that your heart is mended. That is all I can do, trust God and have faith that love is proven true.
