This Moment

This very moment is all that I can give you,  I wish I would've learned before.
My past I cannot relive and my future, I do not know what is in store.
This moment in time is mine, it is  what I wish to share with you.
For tomorrow I do not know what it will bring, this I now know to be true.
I spent my time wanting more, not seeing it slip away.
I spent my moments waiting for another day.
You were there in front of me, giving me what I had wished for.
Oh how I long to hear your voice say "I love you" just once more.
