A Love Forgot

So easily removed from your life, so quickly forgot.  Like I never existed, never mattered, the love of someone else you so hurriedly sought.

How the pain of you remains in my heart, wishing I too could forget.  Love for me was never ending,  unconditional, yet never met. 

Oh how I wish to know that I have crossed your mind, that I sit quietly in your thoughts.  Oh how how shattering to realize our love was forgot.

Not a day passes that a tear isn't shed, my heart still breaks for a love I had, yet to you, it is dead
