Refined
I read an article about the process that silversmiths use to create their masterpieces, though it may be a slow evolution, in the end, you'll see a beautiful reflection of its creator. The silversmith heats the precious metal just long enough to burn off the impurities, making sure not to keep it in the fire too long. If the fire becomes too hot, there is a chance of the silver cracking as it cools down. Some might believe that this precious commodity would be ruined and worthless, yet even though it might seem broken, a true master is able to mend and refine the cracks and make the silver flawless once again.
This is what the fires in our lives do for us, they refine us, burn our impurities away, leaving a polished spectacular reflection of who we truly are. Our self doubt becomes ashes , our fears burn away, our worries go up in flames. I used to think that going through the dark heat in life would leave you burnt, unrecognizable, singed and scarred, that coming out of the fire unscathed was impossible..... yet now I see, it's how you choose to look at yourself once the flames have died that really shows the world what you are made of.
God is my master silversmith. He has allowed me to go through the flames and I am coming out stronger, better, more beautiful than I've ever been, I am the reflection of my creator
