It's My Time.

It's my time.   It's my time to laugh. It's my time to smile.  It's my time to be silly.  It's my time to be wild.  It's my time to travel.  It's my time to seek adventure.   It's my time to feel the sun.

It's time to be me.

It's my time to love.   It's my time to speak words of honesty.   It's my time to be happy.  It's my time to not care.   It's my time to be easy.   Its time to be in love with you and with me.

It's time to be free.

I have been the stay at home Mom.   I have been the girlscout leader.  I have been the classroom helper.  I have been the room parent.   I have been the church volunteer. I have been the Sunday school teacher.  I have been all I was supposed to be.

It's time to live for me

I have been the hurt little girl.  I have been the tormented teenager.   I have been the bearer of guilt that wasn't mine.  I have been the broken hearted.  I have stood over the graves of two men I loved.   I have been destroyed.  I have been hopeless.  I have been at the bottom of life.

It's time to let go.

I am moving forward towards a light that I have never seen.   I will live I life that only I can dream.  It is my time to shine, my time to be, it is my time, for me.
